1. International Availability & Currency

We ship to select international destinations. Product prices are displayed in your local currency or INR, depending on your geographic location. Unless explicitly stated at checkout, prices displayed on the website do not include your local taxes or customs duties.

2. Pricing Structure

For international orders, your total payment at the San Gairo checkout consists solely of:

• The price of the garment(s).
• The international shipping charge.
• Any applicable Indian export taxes (included in the base price unless noted).

Your checkout total does NOT include destination-country import duties, local sales taxes (e.g., VAT), or customs brokerage fees.

3. Customs, Duties & Import Charges

When purchasing from San Gairo for international delivery, you are considered the "importer of record" for the destination country.

• Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for paying any and all import duties, customs charges, and local taxes levied by your country's customs authority.
• Assessment: These charges are calculated by the local customs office upon the package's arrival in your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
• Collection: The courier will typically contact you directly to collect these fees prior to or upon final delivery.

4. Refused Shipments & Unpaid Customs

If you refuse a shipment due to unexpected customs charges, or if a package is returned to us because duties remain unpaid or you are unreachable:

• You will remain responsible for the original shipping charges.
• You will be responsible for any return shipping fees, additional customs charges, or courier penalties incurred by San Gairo to retrieve the package.
• These amounts will be deducted directly from your refund once the garment safely returns to our facility. If the return costs exceed the value of the garment, or if the courier abandons the package due to unpaid duties, no refund will be issued.

5. Customs Delays & Inspections

Cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. We provide all necessary documentation (commercial invoices, export codes) to facilitate smooth clearance. However, San Gairo cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the customs clearance process.

6. Sanctions & Export Restrictions

San Gairo operates in compliance with the laws of India. We cannot fulfil orders to jurisdictions subject to comprehensive embargoes or strict trade sanctions.

7. Accurate Documentation

It is illegal to falsify customs documentation. We will not comply with requests to declare a lower value for garments or to mark purchases as "gifts" in order to evade local taxes.
